Pump and Valve Castings
Fisher has over 60 years of experience casting both sand and investment/lost wax parts for the pump and valve market. Oil, gas, fracking, municipal, desalination, chemical, nuclear and waste are a few of the industries that depend heavily on pump and valve cast parts. Impellers, caps and housings may also be required for these applications.
Up-front engineering is critical to the soundness and quality of castings for these industries. MAGMASOFT casting software provides gating and risering simulation before real time manufacturing in the foundry. This provides an added level of confidence for complex shapes and stringent quality and non-destructive requirements such as magnetic particle, ultrasonic, liquid penetrant and radiography.
Fisher is PED certified 97/23/EC to satisfy customer quality requirements for austenitic and carbon steel grades. Along with certification of our quality system, Fisher’s welders are PED and ASME Section IX certified for most grades.
Fisher Cast Steel manufactures various grades of cast stainless steel including 304/CF3 or CF8, 316/CF3M or CF8M, 2507, 2205, CD4MCuN, CW12MW, CN7M, Duplex, 17-4PH, CA6NM, Hastelloy. Low alloy grades of carbon steel including WCB, WCC, LCB, LCC are cast on a regular basis as well. See a complete list of alloys poured.
