Materials & Alloys Cast
Fisher Cast Steel produces stainless steel and carbon steel castings through a no-bake/sand process up to 8,500 lbs in weight. Our investment/lost wax foundry is capable of producing castings from 1 oz. to 20 lbs. in weight. Fisher pours an array of materials to meet the required application including austenitic, martensitic, duplex, hastelloy, nickel-based, monel, cobalt and low alloy carbon steel. The capability to pour a wide variety of metals comes due to the ARL 3460 optical emission spectrometer that can analyze 19 elements including nitrogen. To produce your metal cast products, Fisher uses a variety of techniques in its casting operations. Different mold types, such as cope and drag, loose pattern, Styrofoam and 3D printed wax, molds and cores are used during production.
